Since I started this blog in 2014 I have been using the theme “dusk til dawn.” It was nice enough and I did like using it, but over time I noticed quite a few problems that weren’t really addressable within the options. At least not without becoming more than the amateur at css that I am. Recently I decided it was time to make an upgrade to a newer (and more commonly updated) theme that would give me more of the features I would like to have. Not to mention the old one is retired and is thus sure to not to keep pace with whatever web developments occur.
So I have updated to the theme wisteria, which is quite nice. I think it looks better and I should be able to do more with it. I had to change the color scheme around as a top priority (links start as a purple color because wisteria), but that wasn’t too hard. There are a few kinks I have worked out, and a few more I need to work out, but I expect to have the site more or less finalized to my liking within a couple of weeks at most.
I hope you like the new theme and if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am sort of notorious for being really hit or miss on choosing color combinations, for example. Tips on bad choices in that area are always welcome.
