Since I started this blog in 2014 I have been using the theme “dusk til dawn.” It was nice enough and I did like using it, but over time I noticed quite a few problems that weren’t really addressable within the options. At least not without becoming more than the amateur at css that I am. Recently I decided it was time to make an upgrade to a newer (and more commonly updated) theme that would give me more of the features I would like to have. Not to mention the old one is retired and is thus sure to not to keep pace with whatever web developments occur.
So I have updated to the theme wisteria, which is quite nice. I think it looks better and I should be able to do more with it. I had to change the color scheme around as a top priority (links start as a purple color because wisteria), but that wasn’t too hard. There are a few kinks I have worked out, and a few more I need to work out, but I expect to have the site more or less finalized to my liking within a couple of weeks at most.
I hope you like the new theme and if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am sort of notorious for being really hit or miss on choosing color combinations, for example. Tips on bad choices in that area are always welcome.Find other great dissident right content with the two Atavisionary RSS feeds: Atavisions and Prolific Atavisions.
